Pada hari jum'at kami berkesempatan untuk mewancarai Bapak Roy Suryo dalam rangka tugas bahasa indonesia yaitu mewawancarai public figure. Bapak Roy Suryo , memiliki nama lengkap Kanjeng Raden Mas Temenggung Roy Suryo . ia Lahir pada 18 Juli 1968 . Ia bersekolah di di Yogjakarta dan berkuliah di UGM ( Universitas Gajah Mada ) . Ia sebelumnya adalah seorang pengajar . Namun akibat ia didorong oleh teman – temanya akhirnya ia masuk DPR . Ia mengambil bidangi Komisi – 1 DPR bidang telematika . Ia adalah seorang ahli telematika yang terkenal . Sebelumnya , ia memilih bidang ini akibat berhubungan dengan hobinya yaitu fotografi , kesenian , teknologi , dan kabel .
Bapak Roy Suryo sebenarnya memiliki cita – cita sebagai pilot dan ia pun pernah berlatih namun tidak lama .Tetapi cita – cita itu tak terwujud karena konsentrasinya yang buyar dan ia pun akhirnya memasuki bidang komunikasi di UGM . Namun cita – cita menjadi pilot itu masih tak terlupakan olehnya , buktinya ia sekarang masih mengkoleksi miniatur pesawat terbang .
Telah dijelaskan bahwa cita – cita nya menjadi pilot itu terlewatkan akibat ia masuk UGM dan mengambil bidang komunikasi . Hal ini terjadi karena pada awalnya ia berhobi dengan sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan kesenian , kabel , fotografi , serta teknologi . Akhirnya setelah dari UGM ia terpilih menjadi salah satu dari 8 wakil rakyat Indonesia yang berasal dari Yogjakarta .
Di DPR Bapak Roy Suryo memilih bidang telematika namun semua anggota DPR memiliki tugas yang sama yaitu mewakili rakyat dalam merancang UUD , menyusun anggaran , dan mengawasi kinerja pemerintah . Pengalaman nya di DPR menurutnya semuanya berkesan , karena memang semua orang selalu bertanya hal yang berhubungan dengan telematika kepadanya . Namun menurutnya yang paling berkesan adalah saat ia berani menebak suara presiden Habibie disaat pemerintahan sangat tegas . Suka dan duka pak Roy Suryo sebagai anggota DPR menurutnya ada senang dan ada yang kurang senang sesuai dengan tugasnya .
Saat ditanya soal harapan terhadap anak Indonesia , bapak Roy Suryo berharap anak Indonesia lebih berprestasi dan lebih berkembang serta menjauhkan narkoba dan hal yang berhubungan dengan seksual .

On Friday we had the opportunity to interviewed Mr Roy Suryo in order task of interviewing Indonesian public figures.Mr Roy Suryo, a full name Raden Mas Kanjeng Chief Roy Suryo. He was born on July 18, 1968. He attended college in Yogyakarta and at Gadjah Mada University (Universitas Gajah Mada). He previously was a lecturer. Mr Roy Suryo actually have ideals - ideals as a pilot and he has ever practiced, but not for long. His experience in the House thought it memorable, because everyone's always asking things related to telematics to him. But according to the most memorable was when he dared to voice the president Habibie's guess when the government is very strict. The joys and sorrows pack Roy Suryo as members of the House thinks there are good and some are less happy in accordance with their duties.
When asked about the expectations of Indonesian children, Mr Roy Suryo hopes of Indonesian children perform better and more developed as well as keeping drugs and related matters sexual.
